My work
I am a Writer and Editor with over 2 years experience working at a digital publication. As an Editorial Project Manager, I oversaw projects that served our community of over 700 global authors. Our international Technical Writing Workshop was a 4-week intensive writing workshop that helped developers strengthen their writing skills and get their work published. I grew this project from 3 times per year to twice per month with 50-100 participants.
Another project that I created was the Spotlight Contributor Blog Series. This project aimed to share the stories of our diverse community of authors. I met and interviewed our authors to hear about their journey into coding. No two stories are exactly the same; everyone has something different to share! From fashion bloggers, to mathematicians, to Software Engineers, their stories are fascinating.
Outside of my professional writing, I also regularly contribute to multiple Seattle publications such as The Mountaineers Magazine and the Phinney Neighborhood Association's PhinneyWood blog.
